The Made in Oklahoma Coalition was founded over 20 years ago with a mission to build brand awareness and consumer loyalty for Oklahoma made food and beverage products. Our goal is to strengthen and diversify Oklahoma’s food supply chain by assisting local businesses in marketing and promoting their products on a statewide, regional, and national level.

Made in Oklahoma Coalition members match public funds with private dollars to support sales in retail stores, local and national restaurants, and other non- traditional outlets. Additionally, the Coalition promotes Oklahoma products through statewide marketing campaigns, events, and the facilitation of business to business relationships in the industry.

What is the Made in Oklahoma Coalition?
The Made in Oklahoma Coalition is a non-profit membership organization for food and beverage companies that manufacture and produce products in the state of Oklahoma. The organization is supported by both public and private dollars in partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry and a board of Oklahoma food industry professionals.
I have an Oklahoma business that I would like to certify as MIO. How do I join?
Are you a food and beverage producer – Yes or No? If the answer is yes, you are eligible to apply for membership for the MIO Coalition. The first step is to fill out the online application, which can be found here (link the app). Once your application is received you will be notified by MIO to schedule your membership interview with the MIO Coalition board of directors. If you are approved for membership by the MIO board of directors, you will receive the MIO Coalition logo certification.
How do I qualify to use the MIO logo? How do I obtain it?
Use of the MIO logo is exclusive to MIO members. In order to obtain access to the logo you will need to submit an application for membership and be accepted as a member of the MIO Coalition.
How do I maximize my MIO membership?
MIO members who regularly attend membership events and meetings are able to maximize their membership benefits. The more you actively participate as a member the more networking opportunities you will be able to take advantage of. Stay plugged into the MIO emails to stay apprised of upcoming events and activities as they arise.
